Capital of Iceland is the City Reykjavik which is now the hot news. The Oceanic flights to the capital city from Seattle are a reopening of America to Europe since the hard hammering of FCC regulations after the 9-11 tragedy.
There is hope that this will stimulate the travel industry flights and tourism to Iceland and there is high hopes that this might start an economic stimulation through out the United States as well.
In the 1960s Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton and many others, took trips abroad with no-frills flights operated by Icelandic Airlines.
