There has been a student at the San Jose based Branham High School that apparently has tested positive for the Swine flu. In a safety precaution the school has closed its doors until May 6th.
The Campbell Union High School district has sent an alert out, that a student that attended school tested positive and might have inadvertently spread the virus to others that the student was in contact with.
On Tuesday, a 16 year old female in San Jose was the first reported case of a positive test result for swine flu in the Santa Clara County area. They are asking for parents to check their children, if they are feeling sick,symptoms include cough, fever, chills, diarrhea, sore throat and vomiting.
